What the NBEMS Notice Says
As per the NBEMS notice dated 1 October 2026, every candidate gets access to their own scorecard and their own answer key. There is no common answer-key PDF for everyone — the key you see is tied to the question paper set allotted to you.
The board has also confirmed that the order of questions within each section was shuffled across candidates. So two candidates may see the same questions in a different order, and even the correct answer key IDs may differ for the same question.
Details Shown in the Individual Answer Key
When you open the answer key in your applicant login, you will see the following for your question paper set:
- Section-wise Question IDs in the sequence they appeared in your paper
- Response status of each question — answered or not attempted
- The correct answer key ID (1, 2, 3 or 4) for every question
- The response you marked for each question
- The score awarded for each question as per the marking scheme
NEET PG 2026 Marking Scheme
The score against each question follows the standard NEET PG marking scheme:
| Response | Marks |
| Correct answer | +4 |
| Incorrect answer | −1 |
| Question not attempted | 0 |
Going through the question-wise marks is the clearest way to understand exactly how your total score was calculated.
