- Final merit combines the normalised written score and preferential qualification marks claimed in the application.

- Selection is subject to medical examination, document verification and character verification.
What Should Selected Candidates Do Next?
If your name is in the final list, congratulations. Keep all your original documents ready and watch for joining and medical instructions from your district authorities on the official website. Do not trust any unofficial call or message asking for money — the board never asks for payment for selection. Selected candidates should keep their original certificates — such as educational qualifications, caste certificate, domicile and identity proof — ready along with self-attested photocopies for document verification. The district authorities will announce the verification schedule and venue on the official website, so check it regularly and report on the given date and time. A medical fitness examination will also be conducted before final enrolment. Complete all formalities within the stipulated time, as missing the verification or medical round can lead to cancellation of candidature.
