Objection Fee and Refund Rules
Raising an objection costs ₹50 per question, plus applicable bank charges. The fee is paid online through debit card, credit card, UPI or net banking.
If your objection is found correct, the fee for that question is refunded after deducting bank charges. The refund goes back to the same account you paid from. Do not wait for the last day — heavy traffic near the deadline can cause payment failures.
Marking Scheme – How to Estimate Your Score
Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and ⅓ mark is deducted for every wrong answer. Questions you did not attempt carry no marks. Since the exam ran in multiple shifts, marks will be normalised before the result.
The minimum qualifying marks in the CBT are 40% for UR and EWS candidates, 30% for OBC and SC candidates, and 25% for ST candidates.
Selection Process After the Answer Key
The CBT is only the screening stage. Candidates equal to 8 times the number of vacancies in each community are shortlisted for the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), followed by document verification and medical examination.
The final merit list gives 70% weightage to CBT marks and 30% weightage to CBAT marks. This recruitment fills 119 Section Controller posts, and the required qualification is a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
